This is a horrifying situation for this homeschool family.

A fundamentalist Christian family who sought asylum in the U.S. so that they couldn't be fined for homeschooling their children in Germany now faces deportation after spending 15 years living in Tennessee.
Uwe and Hannelore Romeike initially fled to the U.S. in 2008 because "God was calling them to homeschool their five children" — something that is only allowed in very narrow circumstances in Germany, according to the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA), who represents the family.
I hope the HSDLA can help them.
